Explore amazing, magical worlds of inspiring characters and thrilling stories in summer enrichment programs at Playmakers!
All camp programs include Acting – Singing – Dance
Theatre games, crafts, indoor/outdoor activities and a final day performance
for the "Performance Focus" camp weeks.
Each camp includes either a performance or a final sharing time for family and friends.
Camps are designed for all skill levels. No prior experience is required.
About Memorization:
Memorizing lines is not required for Playmakers! UNSCRIPTED and Come Out & PLAY! All materials for the final performance/sharing will be developed during the camp day.
Memorization is required for age-appropriate scripts in Desert Island Adventures, Enchanted Forest, and Sing, Dance – SHINE! camps.
Registration is first-come, first-served. Early sign-up is encouraged to guarantee your spot!
Each session runs Monday - Friday, 9am-4pm

A week of games, improvisation, and storytelling! Campers explore theatre without
scripts, creating imaginative worlds and scenes collaboratively. The week ends with a
sharing session where family and friends are invited to join in the fun.

Theatre Performance Focus

Ages 6-10 | Spectacular Shakespeare: The Tempest
Young actors will explore the enchanted world of Shakespeare’s The Tempest through games, crafts, songs and movement. They’ll bring the characters’ island adventures to life, building confidence, teamwork, and performance skills as they prepare a playful, final-day performance for family and friends.

Older campers will dive deeper into improvisation, collaboration, and performance skills. Through theatre games and creative exercises, they’ll explore character, scene work, and ensemble storytelling, culminating in a presentation for family and friends.

Ages 11–16 | Spectacular Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Step into the world of ancient Athens and encounter fairies, magic, and mischief!
Campers will immerse themselves in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream,
exploring timeless characters, scenes, and storytelling through games, improvisation, and rehearsal. The week concludes with a short performance for family and friends.

Musical Theatre Performance Focus

Ages 6–16 | Musical Theatre
Sing, Dance – SHINE! Campers will explore the joys of musical theatre, from singing and dancing to character work and scene rehearsal. No previous experience required. At the end of the week, the group will perform a musical for family and friends, showing off their voices, energy, and confidence on stage.
